Te Karere O Matairangi – Mahuru 2018

Maori language week falls this month from 10th – 16th September and we have changed our front page banner in our efforts to try and use it a little bit more, so starting the month as we mean to go on.

There are some really great links here Maori Language Week and posters to download to encourage the use of  te Reo in our everyday  lives. I do try to use it occasionally especially not being from New Zealand, I enjoy the way my kids have embraced it at school and try to teach me, so I will definitely make more of an effort.

We have a very busy month ahead of us with the inaugural Vegan Vault at Clyde Quay School on 8th September from 6-9pm. We would love to see Mt Victoria become a bit of a foodie destiniation and Clyde Quay School is a wonderful space that will support us  in making this happen. I will be bringing the whanau along for our Saturday tea and hopefully we will see soe of you there as well.

And BEE Happy In Mt Victoria on Sunday 16th September from 1-3pm as part of Bee Awareness Month, I am really loking forward to this. You can follow our planning on our facebook event and find out what will be happening on the day. Bee Happy In Mt Victoria

We hope you enjoy the newsletter, just find a warm cosy corner (today is a good for that ), a cuppa and have a wee read.

We hope you and have a wonderful month.
